While the UNDERWORLD series clearly has a large fan base, I personally don’t count myself as one of them, so I’m somewhat confused as to what’s happening in this trailer (and not just because it’s so dark I struggled to even see the damn thing!). Didn’t Beckinsale bail on this franchise? Why do the action sequences still ape the increasingly dated MATRIX movies? And what’s with all the blue?! Hopefully the trailer will get you UNDERWORLD fans psyched for this fourth entry, even it didn’t quite convince me. See what you think…

UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING (which ironically is what I needed after sitting through that thing) will hit cinemas worldwide next January.
