This is a win-win situation for those who were already pretty pumped for the release of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL, but anybody out there hungry for a longer look at THE DARK KNIGHT RISES who aren’t fans of Mr. Cruise may have to suck it up and purchase a ticket to the IMAX release on December 16th* – because rumour has it you’ll be treated to a mighty 8 minute preview of Nolan’s trilogy closer.

Now this might well be a US only type deal, but if I remember rightly they pulled this stunt once before back in ’07, where a preview of THE DARK KNIGHT ran before I AM LEGEND both here and overseas. We’ll keep you up to date as soon as we hear more…
