With the countdown on for May’s Captain America: Civil War, Marvel Studios next outing has released a new and updated synopsis ahead of the Russo Brothers’ movie.

The new word on the film reads:

Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps – one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

A huge ensemble piece, this next entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to feature Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie as The Falcon, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Emily VanCamp as Agent 13, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Tom Holland as Spider-Man, William Hurt as Thunderbolt Ross, Frank Grillo as Crossbones, and Daniel Bruhl as Baron Zemo.

To be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Captain America: Civil War hits the big screen on May 6th, 2016.
