With Snake Eyes getting his own solo movie later this year, now comes word that another G.I. Joe picture is being eyed.

Via The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Pictures and Hasbro Studios have brought in Seberg writers Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse to write this offering. Not much is known about the film just yet, although it won’t be a direct sequel to Snake Eyes. That said, it seems like there could be a good chance that Snake Eyes’ Henry Golding, Samara Weaving, Andrew Koji, and Ursula Corbero could reprise their respective roles of Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Storm Shadow, and Baroness for the picture.

Speaking of Snake Eyes, that movie has officially been retitled as Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins. A complete reboot, this film is currently booked in for October 23rd.
