For DC fans, the prospect of seeing Gorilla Grodd in The CW’s THE FLASH is a mighty exciting one. The character’s existence was teased in the pilot episode of the show, before a further episode then actually gave a glimpse at the captive Grodd in a S.T.A.R. Labs cage. Now comes a new teaser that gives warning that “Grodd is Coming!”

When Grodd was first teased in the pilot episode, some were a little worried about how a super intelligent, super strong, psionic-powered gorilla could be taken seriously in a live-action show. As it stands, THE FLASH has proved to be a fantastic show which has handled various heroes, villains and superpowers expertly, meaning Grodd is a massively exciting addition to the show.

As for just when Gorilla Grodd will make his full debut remains to be seen, as does just which powers he will have at this stage. The above footage plays almost like a horror film of sorts, so it appears that Grodd may have a slightly darker edge to him at this early stage.

Regardless, Gorilla Grodd has our attention and we cannot wait to see what THE FLASH does with him later in this season.
