As Thor: Ragnarok starts to gather some momentum, some new information is being reported about the Thunder God’s next outing.

According to JoBlo, a large part of the film will revolve around Thor on a journey to find a weapon that can put an end to the ominous prospect of Ragnarok; essentially the end of the world in Norse mythology. Additionally, the report claims that Chris Hemsworth’s Odinson will sport a shaved head for a portion of the film.

Elsewhere, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, who will be a love interest for Thor in the movie, will have a different look to her comic book counterpart, with her being decked out in war paint. And then there’s The Hulk, who will be a part of the outing in a way that pulls loosely from the fan-favourite Planet Hulk comic arc. Mark Ruffalo’s Green Goliath will be found partaking in gladiatorial games on a mysterious planet that’s being run by Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster. In a move that will please longtime comic fans, it’s also being reported that The Hulk will be decked out in the armour that’s seen in the comic book tale.

To be directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok is set for an October 27th, 2017 release.
