Following yesterday’s news that Woody Harrelson’s character in Disney’s upcoming Han Solo movie will be that of “criminal and mentor” Beckett, now comes some further new details on the film.

Speaking at a USC presentation, as per Variety, Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed that the film will look at Han’s life from the ages of 18 to 24. Along the way, we’ll see how Solo became the owner of the Millennium Falcon plus see how his friendship with Chewbacca began. Interestingly, Iger also said, “You’ll also discover how he got his name.” Could that mean that Han Solo isn’t actually Han Solo’s original name?

As the young take on this famed loveable scoundrel is Alden Ehrenreich, with Donald Glover on board as the young Lando Calrissian, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca and Woody Harrelson as the aforementioned Beckett, not to mention unknown roles for Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Michael K. Williams, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

To be directed by The LEGO Movie’s Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the still-to-be-titled Han Solo picture is set for a May 25th, 2018 release.
