After having made his dramatic bow at the end of The Walking Dead’s sixth season – followed by that season premiere for Season 7 – Negan is now shining in being the ‘big bad’ of AMC’s genre juggernaut. Well actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan has confirmed that the uber-villain won’t be going anywhere any time soon.

Speaking to Howard Stern, Morgan explained, “I know I will be on board for Season 8. We’ve finished a week ago. The next two, I’m really big in. I’m fucking heavy in those.”

The next two episodes that Morgan is referring to just so happen to be the final two episodes before the show goes on its mid-season break, so it’s safe to say that we’ll likely get some major moments that should up the ante and further amp the tension that surrounds Rick Grimes and his crew right now.

Regardless of what goes down in those next two episodes, though, it looks as if Negan will be around for at least a little while longer.
