Disney+ shared a teaser trailer for its upcoming series National Treasure: Edge of History, giving Comic-Con attendees a very brief glimpse at what’s to come.

The teaser debut was accompanied by an announcement that Harvey Keitel, who played FBI agent Peter Sadusky in the National Treasure film franchise, will be returning to the role as a series guest star.

National Treasure: Edge of History focuses on Jess Morales (Lisette Olivera, previously known as Lisette Alexis), a brilliant and resourceful young DREAMer who embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to uncover the truth about her family’s mysterious past and save a lost Pan-American treasure.

Meanwhile, Billie (Catherine Zeta-Jones) is a badass billionaire, black-market antiquities expert and treasure hunter who lives by her own code. She transformed herself from a penniless orphan to a stylish businesswoman and adventurer and she, too, is after the Pan-American treasure.

Also starring are Zuri Reed as Jess’ ride-or-die friend Tasha; Jake Austin Walker (Stargirl) as Liam, a struggling musician with a chip on his shoulder who comes from a long line of treasure hunters; Antonio Cipriano as Oren, a lovable but self-obsessed goofball with an encyclopedic knowledge of conspiracy theories; Jordan Rodrigues as Ethan, Jess’ childhood best friend who harbours romantic feelings for the series lead; and Lyndon Smith as FBI Agent Ross, a dogged investigator who begins to realize there’s a greater conspiracy at hand.

The pilot episode is directed by Mira Nair from a script by Cormac Wibberley and Marianne Wibberley, the duo behind the original films.
