It seems like it was only yesterday that Mr. Robot debuted its second season, but now comes confirmation that the series has been renewed for a third season.

The Sam Esmail-created series has won a whole host of plaudits from fans and critics alike, although the ratings haven’t exactly been great for the show’s airings on the USA Network over in the US. Regardless of the show maybe not quite drawing in the ratings that the network would ideally like, the series will be back next year for its Season 3.

Focussing on Rami Malek’s odd and awkward hacker Elliot Anderson and his relationship with Christian Slater’s Mr. Robot, the series has been a huge hit with genre fans since debuting last year.

Season 3 of Mr. Robot will air in 2017, with the second season currently available to watch on Amazon Video here in the UK.
