It seems that the work of Stephen King is as popular these days as its ever been, with adaptations regularly adorning both the big and small screen. And now, the TV take on Mr. Mercedes has brought in two new additions ahead of its second season.

As per Deadline, Jack Huston and Maximiliano Hernandez have joined the series; Huston playing Dr Felix Babineau, Hernandez to play Assistant DA Antonio Montez. Huston is likely best known to genre fans for the likes of Shrooms, Boardwalk Empire, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and the Ben-Hur remake, while Hernandez will be familiar for Sicario and for playing Agent Sitwell in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This pair join the returning Harry Treadaway, Brendan Gleeson, Jharrel Jerome, Scott Lawrence, Breeda Wool, Justine Lupe and Holland Taylor for Season 2 of Mr. Mercedes. Said second season starts production next month ahead of premiering towards the middle of 2018.
