Humanity is on the ropes in this trailer for the sequel to 2011’s RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES after a virus has ravaged mankind’s population but increased the intelligence of apes. Andy Serkis returns as Caesar, the leader of the apes with Jason Clarke playing the main human role.
Official Synopsis:
A decade has passed since apes and man have come face-to-face. Now the two societies face a difficult choice between working together to co-exist or battle to become the dominant species.
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
