In some news that’s sure to get X-fans smiling, Bryan Singer has taken to Vine to confirm the inclusion of two more characters in his upcoming X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST; Bishop and Warpath. Both characters, particularly Bishop, are important to the Days of Future Past story arc.

When Omar Sy originally signed on to the film, early reports suggested that he would be playing Bishop. With still no confirmation on Sy’s role, this news would certainly heap more substance to these early rumours.

As for the Native American Warpath, all logic points to Booboo Stewart playing the role. Again, no confirmation of this has been announced, but Stewart is the only Native American currently involved with the film and also has his role in Singer’s X-sequel as unconfirmed at present.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST sees an alternate future, where all mutants are hunted down by giant Sentinels due to the assassination of a political figure.

Already confirmed for Singer’s time-travel tale are James McAvoy as the young Charles Xavier, Patrick Stewart as the older Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as the young Magneto, Ian McKellen as the older Magneto, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Halle Berry as Storm, Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde, Anna Paquin as Rogue, Shawn Ashmore as Iceman, Daniel Cudmore as Colossus, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique and Fan Bingbing as Blink. Adan Canto and Peter Dinklage are officially on board, although their roles are unspecified. Early reports indicate that Dinklage will be played Bolivar Trask, creator of the Sentinels.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will be released on 18th July, 2014.
