During a media blitz for THE CALL, Halle Berry had a chat with the BBC about a few things, such as a certain upcoming X-Men film and a certain bump that’s appeared. With Berry now expecting her second child, there was some concerns that said bump would cause problems with Bryan Singer’s upcoming X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. Not the case, is the official word from the CATWOMAN ‘star.’

Berry said, “One thing is for sure, with another baby on the way mama cannot take time off.”

Whilst the bump will most definitely be prominent during filming, Berry revealed that the film will be shot around the bump, adding, “Storm probably won’t be as badass as she was going to be because we won’t be able to do any fighting or flying or things like that. She’ll be different than we originally planned her to be but I still think she’ll be an integral part of this new X-Men movie.”

Surely logic would look towards getting a stunt double in for any action scenes rather than just scrap the scenes completely? Just saying…

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST tells the story of an alternate future where all mutants are hunted down by giant Sentinels due to the assassination of a political figure.

As well as Berry returning for Singer’s next X-travaganza (sorry, shocking pun, I know), the film will see James McAvoy returning as the younger Professor X, Patrick Stewart as the older Professor X, Michael Fassbender as the younger Magneto, Ian McKellen as the older Magneto, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde, Anna Paquin as Rogue, Shawn Ashmore as Iceman, Daniel Cudmore as Colossus, Nicholas Hoult as Beast and Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique. Fan Binbing has joined the film as Blink, whilst there’s also unconfirmed roles for Boo Stewart, Omar Sy and Peter Dinklage. Dinklage, however, is heavily rumoured to be playing Bolvar Trask, creator of the Sentinels.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will be released on 18th July, 2014.
