Good news, X-fans! DAYS OF FUTURE PAST director Bryan Singer announced that production has ended for the new X-MEN film. Singer also tweeted a picture from the final day of filming, which shows a grinning Singer posing with Hugh Jackman, writer Simon Kinberg, and producer Hutch Parker…

This news means the film is one step closer to being released, which will no doubt excite the legions of fans waiting in fevered anticipation for the latest entry in the franchise.

Today also brings a great new official image featuring Hank McCoy (Nicholas Hoult), Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman)…

The film will hit theaters on May 23rd, 2014, and will bring the casts of the original X-MEN trilogy and X-MEN: FIRST CLASS together in an attempt to close all of the gaps and paradoxes in the X-MEN film universe.
