Bryan Singer has used Twitter, as he so often does, to tweet who is working on X-MEN: APOCALYPSE with him. When X2 came out that sentence would’ve made no sense. “Tweet?” they’d ask. “Is there celebrity bird surgery in 2013?” I digress…

X2, the second film in this long running franchise was penned by Mike Dougherty and Dan Harris who are now joining the writing team and X-MEN APOCALYPSE. Here is the official tweet from Bryan Singer:

X2 was arguably one of the better films of the X-Men franchise, so it’s no surprise Dougherty and Harris were brought in to work on the new film. However it is a surprise it was snowing in Egypt. I had to google it. But is this actually a hint at an APOCALYPSE related origin?

We’re still looking forward to X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST in May 27 2014, nevermind X-MEN APOCALYPSE due in 2016.
