It’s a well known fact for all cinemagoers that director Christopher Nolan likes to keep his new projects as firmly under wraps as possible, making any advance details harder to come by than a school photo of Bane. Well here is a vague but promising sign that things are getting astronomically exciting. As, ahead of tomorrow’s first trailer for the film, Warner Brothers and Paramount have launched the film’s official website www.interstellarmovie.com and thus released this logo for the film (see below).

Interstellar’s official synopsis states that the film “chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.” In addition to this brain-warping synopsis, the film stars an exciting cast that includes, Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Casey Affleck and Michael Caine. The film descends into UK cinemas (IMAX included) on the 7th of November 2014 and if Nolan’s past is anything to go by, this ought to be one of the best Science Fiction events of 2014.
