Another day another comic book adaptation is in the news. Visual effects artist Tim Miller who has previously been linked with the DEADPOOL film as well as responsible for the title sequence in THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO has been slated to adapt Warren Ellis’ comic book GRAVEL for Legendary Pictures.

This one focuses on William Gravel, an SAS soldier who has some skills with the black arts and uses it to battle supernatural beings for extra moolah on the side. Legendary Pictures recently scrapped the similarly themed PARADISE LOST by director Alex Proyas due to budget issues so this is probably something cheap to fill the schedule.

I’m not familiar with this one so maybe readers can shed some light on it. Is it worth getting excited about? Sounds a bit like CONSTANTINE to me.
