From its conception, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has enlisted many A-list actors to play larger-than-life heroes in its big budget blockbusters, so it comes as no surprise that Marvel Studios have reportedly contacted Vin Diesel, presumably to talk about him appearing in a Phase Three film. The actor broke the news on his facebook, saying, “Marvel has requested a meeting… no idea what for… you probably know better than me, haha.” 

While this doesn’t tell us much, it certainly raises the question: Who would he play if he struck a deal with Marvel? It will obviously be a while before we see him turn up in the MCU, seeing as the studio’s schedule is already packed tight with highly anticipated films, but this is still awesome news. We know nothing more at this point, but rest assured, you’ll be the first to know once more updates surface.
