Ever do that thing when you were younger, when you hung upside down off the sofa and wondered what the upside down world would be like? No? Just me then, ok… Well this seems to be the premise for the new science fiction fantasy UPSIDE DOWN starring Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst.

The film is a love story in which Adam (Sturgess) lives in a world where an opposite and more affluent world lives above. As a child he has an encounter with Eve (Dunst) who lives in the world above, an encounter he cannot forget. Adam risks everything when he catches a glimpse of the adult Eve on television and decides to pursue her. A trailer has now been released via French website Canal +, and you can watch it below…

The film is written and directed by Juan Diego Solanas and looks like this year’s ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND. Sturgess and Dunst make some of the most interesting choices with their film projects out of any of the young performers out there. The trailer is stunning and personally I can’t wait to see the finished film.
