Mancunian documentary makers Cosmic Joke have released the trailer for their latest movie, TREASURE TRAPPED. It is all about the rather unusual hobby of Live Action Roleplay, and investigates the UK and European LARP scene.

We interviewed Alex Taylor earlier this year about the project (you can read more here), and it does look very interesting. LARP is a hobby that is fantastic to play but rather silly to watch, and in the past has gotten a bit of rough deal from those in the media looking for a cheap laugh.  From the trailer, TREASURE TRAPPED seems to approach this most energetic of gaming hobbies with the respect and sense of humour that it deserves. We can’t wait to see the finished product.
