Titus Welliver is the latest to join the increasingly impressive cast of Michael Bay’s upcoming TRANSFORMERS sequel. Welliver is best known (to us nerds at least) for his role in LOST as the island’s chief antagonist (aka ‘The Man in Black’ / ‘Smokie’), and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent ‘Blake’ in the Marvel Studio One-Shot ITEM 47. There’s no details as to what role he’ll play , but he’ll be appearing alongside the previously announced Mark Whalberg, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles, T.J. Miller, Li Bingbing (best name ever) and Han Geng.

TRANSFORMERS 4 is scheduled to open in UK cinemas June 27th 2014.
