John Turturro, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Josh Duhamel… how on Earth does Michael Bay convince such acclaimed thesps to appear in one of the most reviled movie franchises ever produced?! And now here he is again, bagging yet another major talent for his latest TRANSFORMERS flick. Did Tucci not read the reviews for DARK OF THE MOON? Good point.

No news as to who Tucci will be portraying (another Sector 7 agent?), but he’ll be joined by the previously announced Mark Whalberg, Nicola Peltz as Marky Mark’s daughter and Jack Reynor as her racecar driving boyf (rumoured).  

In other T4 news, Bay has also revealed he’ll be shooting key action scenes on new IMAX cameras – guaranteeing an infinitely more unpleasant visual experience for the poor audience members in the front rows! (Seriously, make sure you sit as far away as possible should you opt for an IMAX performance of a TRANSFORMERS movie; Bay’s dizzying visuals and rapid cutting style could induce nausea in even the most hardened deep sea fisherman.)
