Hugo Weaving may have a sniffy attitude at the prospect of returning for the CAPTAIN AMERICA sequel, but top Brit thesp Toby Jones, who played the Red Skull’s right-hand-man Arnim Zola, has expressed in past interviews he’d be well up for it if the chance presented itself. Now, in a quick chat with Heyyouguys.co.uk, he’s confirmed that he’s all set to reprise the role in next year’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER.

Jones will appear alongside regulars Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders and Sebastian Stan (note the absence of Hayley Atwell, who sadly won’t be returning). New to the movie will be Anthony Mackie as The Falcon (who, revealed the actor recently, will fly just as his comic book counterpart does), and Frank Grillo as Crossbones.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER opens in UK cinemas April 4th 2014. As for the rest of Marvel’s Phase Two cycle, mark these dates in your calendars…
