Perhaps most notorious for his role in THE DARK KNIGHT as crime boss Sal Maroni, Eric Roberts has been cast in the upcoming THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3 (FINAL SEQUENCE). 

It was confirmed by Entertainment Weekly that the Oscar-nominated actor has signed on for the film. How exactly he will be involved is still unclear, but judging by characters in the previous films, no one really gets off lightly.

The film will be the final part of a trilogy that has caused controversial motions in the mainstream press for it’s gut-wrenching premise and graphic nature. It is also reported that director Tom Six will be stepping in front of the camera this time around, whether that means as a contributor to the centipede remains to be seen.

Other actors already cast in the film include original villains Dieter Leister, Lawrence Harvey, and newcomers Tommy Lister, Robert LaSardo and former porn actress Bree Olson. Yep, we have really high hopes for this one.
