With seemingly every man, woman and child wincing at the thought of 20th Century Fox’s THE FANTASTIC FOUR reboot, the studio has taken the ballsy move of announcing a release date for a sequel. Not only that, but there are some confirmed dates for other 20th Century Fox projects.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR 2 is to see a 14th July, 2017 release, whilst the studio also announced that a third WOLVERINE movie has been set for a 3d March, 2017 release. As well as these two Marvel properties, an unnamed Marvel movie will be released on 18th July, 2018, with early speculation claiming that particular slot will end up going to the X-FORCE movie that KICK-ASS 2’s Jeff Wadlow is currently developing.

Away from the Marvel  vibe, Matthew Vaughn’s THE SECRET SERVICE has been brought forward from 6th March, 2015 to 24th October of this year. That move will see the film going up against the Halloween market, which includes the likes of OUIJA and PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 5.

Before any of that, though, X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST hits on 23rd May, followed by THE FANTASTIC FOUR on 19th June, 2015 and X-MEN: APOCALYPSE on 27th May, 2016.
