Jon Spaihts, the screenwriter who penned the original draft of Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS before they brought in Damon Lindelof to field the entirety of the blame for ropey plotting, has landed the tricky task of turning a movie that was largely unloved upon its release in 1979 into something that will thrill today’s audiences.
