In terms of an interesting mix, Gene Simmons, Wesley Snipes and the WWE are coming together for a new horror movie.

Erebus Pictures, the genre-centric label put together by KISS’ Simmons and WWE Studios, has announced that Snipes, Anne Heche, Dave Annable and former WWE Champion Seth Rollins will be starring in the upcoming horror thriller Temple.

Scripted by Matt Savelloni and to be helmed by John Stockwell, the synopsis on the film reads:

Temple follows a team of rained operatives who find themselves trapped inside an isolated military compound after its artificial intelligence is suddenly shut down. There, they begin to experience strange and horrific phenomena.

On this news, Snipes, best known to genre fans for playing Blade, said, “It’s exciting to find myself in a genre I have always wanted to explore. We are looking forward to a great brand collaboration with Erebus, WWE and Gene.”

Shooting on Temple is due to start this week.
