Yes, you read the headline correctly: Jean-Claude Van Damme could very well be joining the upcoming TERMINATOR film. That’s if he gets his way, at least. Highly, highly, highly unlikely to actually happen, Van Damme has taken to his Facebook page to address an online petition for him to join said film.

JCVD said, “I would definitely love to join the ‘TERMINATOR’ franchise with Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger, if I am offered the role. I would love to! Let’s see if the studio is interested. Thank you.”

That’s pretty much the equivalent of my saying I’d love to take over the Spider-Man gig from Andrew Garfield. Still, stranger things have happened…

For now, the alpha-males (and Starburst Shauna) out there will have to file this one under ‘highly unlikely.’
