Though Pixar are still flying around like Hopper and his gang, attempting to get the story right, J Posters (story via Bleeding Cool) have revealed the exclusive teaser poster for one of the studio’s upcoming films The Good Dinosaur. Originally pencilled (or pixelled, if you will) in for a May 2014 release, the poster rules that out with a big ol’ 2015 at the bottom. After director Bob Peterson left the project this year, there has been some major reshuffling to get the film’s production in line. Disappointing, as it may be to have a Pixar-free cinema year, if this extra work gets the studio’s masterful groove back, a year is no time to wait.

The Good Dinosaur looks at what would happen had the asteroid, which changed life on Earth, missed and the dinosaurs had never died out. The main plot sees a 70-foot tall Apatosaurus befriend a young boy. So on evidence of this synopsis and now the poster, the film is certainly a colourful one and may have another animal human friendship reminiscent of Russell and Kevin in Up (we can but hope it replicates Up‘s quality too). The film stars a towering vocal cast that includes Neil Patrick Harris, John Lithgow, Bill Hader, Judy Greer and Frances McDormand.

The Good Dinosaur is expected for a 25th November 2015 release in the US AND awaits a confirmed UK Release date.
