Well, it’s only a month away until we find out whether punters are willing to pony up again to see one of the most critically derided films of all time just because it’s in 3D, and LucasFilm are stepping up their marketing with the release of 5 new posters. And unlike the two we’ve seen before (here and here) these are actually pretty darn cool (well, 4 of them are anyway).

Just for the record, the majority of us here at Starburst think THE PHANTOM MENACE was unfairly treated, and like it or not, a whole new generation of STAR WARS fans were introduced to Lucas’ universe and adored it. That’s not to say it’s without its flaws, but what film isn’t? Ok, most don’t inflict Jar-Jar bloody Binks on their audiences, but still… And at least we can be rest assured the 3D will be the best it can possibly be given LucasFilm’s commitment to quality. Don’t know about you, but we’re actually looking forward to this release a lot!
