Initially announced back in May, production is now complete on Bruce Timm & Zack Snyder’s animated birthday tribute to the Big Blue Boyscout, and a fitting gift it is. Shame it couldn’t incorporate Supes’ onscreen incarnations, or be rendered in the single continuous shot as the MAN OF STEEL had first intended, but who the heck are we to grumble, it’s still darn impressive.
