Brand new set photos from the AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 have revealed that Denis Leary’s George Stacy will be featured in the upcoming film. You may remember that he died in the first film during a climactic showdown with the Lizard, so exactly how he will feature has bred wild speculation.

Fans have suggested that his return could suggest a flashback or hallucinatory dream sequence through Peter Parker or Gwen Stacey. Perhaps he didn’t actually die and that whole funeral in the first movie was a misleading hallucinatory sequence made by Rhino or Electro?

Alright, it’s probably the former.
