Well well well… Some Vin Diesel news that doesn’t revolve those bloody FAST & FURIOUS flicks or what he is/isn’t doing for Marvel Studios!

The Hollywood Reporter are reporting (from Hollywood) that Diesel will head up a brand new sci-fi (potential) franchise named SOLDIERS OF THE SUN, that will see him do battle with alien Orcs on a post-apocalyptic Earth. While searching for a lost city of Gold. In Mexico. And yes, it does sound like we’re making that up.

The original screenplay comes courtesy of Arash Amel (writer of the upcoming I AM LEGEND sequel), and will be part-produced by TRANSFORMERS’ Lorenzo Bonaventura.
