Movie News: SMALLVILLE Actor LEE THOMPSON YOUNG Dies Aged 29

Actor LEE THOMPSON YOUNG has been found dead at his home at the age of 29, after apparently committing suicide. The actor reportedly died of a self inflicted gunshot wound.

Young’s breakout came in Disney’s FAMOUS JETT JACKSON TV series, leading to a role in FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS and THE HILLS HAVE EYES 2. Young became a regular guest star on crime drama RIZZOLI & ISLES in 2010, but is probably best known to sci-fi fans as Al Gough in the short lived FLASHFORWARD and as Victor Stone/Cyborg in SMALLVILLE.

His friends and colleagues have taken to Twitter to pay tribute to the actor.
