Following on from yesterday's announcement that Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Chris Meloni have joined the cast of the long-waited sequel, comes news that ex-Goonie Josh Brolin (Men in Black III/Jonah Hex) has signed on to play Dwight. The character was previously portrayed by Clive Owen, but since this is set before the events of the first film (in which it was revealed Dwight had undergone some radical facial reconstruction to evade detection) re-casting the role is perfectly acceptable. Definitely a change for the better.
Brolin joins Levitt, Meloni, Dennis Haysbert (as Manute), alongside returning cast members Jessica Alba, Jamie Chung, Rosaria Dawson, Mickey Rourke and Michael Madsen, but expect more announcements soon.
SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR will hit cinemas in October.
