Fans of 2011 cult horror flick THE WOMAN, directed by Lucky McKee and starring Pollyanna Mcintosh as a ravenous, feral woman, chained up and tormented by an apparently civilised but emotionally troubled 21st century American family may be intrigued to hear that a sequel is on the cards.

The statuesque actress, appearing at the Grimmfest horror film festival in Manchester this weekend to promote serial killer short HIM INDOORS in which she appears with LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN star Reece Shearsmith revealed during a post-screening Q&A that a sequel to THE WOMAN is under discussion and may commence filming as early as March 2013, although there’s no official confirmation available as yet.
