What we have here is an alternate opening scene featuring S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill recapping the post-invasion events of the film to her mysterious superiors. Given that the opening we actually got was a little on the awkward side, perhaps the film’s only weakness, this late change may go a ways to explain why. Here’s the clip…
