With the last few days having seemingly seen a new HALLOWEEN movie confirmed, it was wondered whether this new film would continue the story from Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN II or whether Michael Myers would be getting another reboot. Well, it appears we have an answer on that particular question.

Having played Laurie Strode in Zombie’s two HALLOWEEN movies, Scout Taylor-Compton has been getting badgered on social media about whether she’d be returning. Spilling the beans, the young actress revealed, “No longer, no more secrets. Can’t wait to jump back into Laurie Strode’s mindset.”

With Taylor-Compton apparently confirming her return as Laurie Strode, one would have to presume that this latest HALLOWEEN will indeed continue the narrative established by Zombie’s movies. As for Zombie, he’s previously stated numerous times that he won’t return for any further HALLOWEENs. Of course, that could all change.
