(Oh boy. You know it’s a slow news day when we resort to this…) 

If you ever needed proof just how shoddily thrown together these increasingly lazy parody movies are – just check out this latest trailer. While initially you’ll probably be impressed by the savvy forward thinking it took to base the central “plot” around the recent horror hit MAMA, you’re in for a shock if you actually compare this trailer with their earlier promo released last December… it looks like a completely different film!!! The MAMA “plot” has clearly been shoehorned in post-hit, and it looks like a lot of the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4 stuff might have been cut as a result. Anyway, that’s about the most interesting thing we can possibly say about this joyless promo, so proceed at your own peril…

This is ordinarily where we’d tell you when SCARY MOVIE 5 opens, but if we did there’s a risk you might actually go see it and contribute to the making of another one, so we won’t.
