More rumours from the galaxy far, far away: HANNA, THE HOST, and BYZANTIUM star Saoirse Ronan may have read for a role in the upcoming Star Wars trilogy, according to Latino Review.

As this source doesn’t have the best record for rumours, take this with the lightest pinch of salt for now, but they have been on the ball a few times in the past.

Ronan, who has reportedly passed on the role of the Scarlet Witch in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, never fails to impress and could be a great choice for the daughter of the Solos. Or perhaps it would be nice to see her dark side – a female villain is reportedly also being cast.

Latino Review are also defending their previous Benedict Cumberbatch rumour a little too adamantly – “DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE ABOUT BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH NOT BEING IN STAR WARS. HE IS IN THE MOVIE!” – and reporting that the City of Crpsses, Las Crucas in New Mexico is a filming location.

Whether any of this turns out to be true (and we’re totally up for Cumberbatch and Ronan), what we do know is that STAR WARS EPISODE VII, directed by JJ Abrams and scripted by Michael Arndt, will be coming to cinemas not so far, far away in 2015.
