Last week we got our first look at sci-fi drama SOUND OF MY VOICE, in which the dubious claims of a time-traveller are called into question. Now we have the debut trailer of sci-fi comedy SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED, in which the dubious claims of a time-traveller are called into question.

In all seriousness this, like SOUND, both present fresh approaches to familiar genre staples. More importantly they both look ace. Check out the trailer below and see what you think…

Official Synopsis:

‘When an unusual classified ad inspires three cynical Seattle magazine employees to look for the story behind it, they discover a mysterious eccentric named Kenneth, a likable but paranoid supermarket clerk, who believes he’s solved the riddle of time travel and intends to depart again soon. Together, they embark on a hilarious, smart, and unexpectedly heartfelt journey that reveals how far believing can take you.

Safety Not Guaranteed stars Aubrey Plaza, Mark Duplass, Jake Johnson and Karan Soni. Directed by Colin Trevorrow and written by Derek Connolly, the film is produced by Marc Turtletaub, Peter Saraf, Stephanie Langhoff, Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. Executive Producers are Mark Duplass, Jay Duplass, John Hodges and Michael B. Clark.’

SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED is released in the US June 8th. Here’s hoping for a timely UK opening shortly after.
