Though he may have had to endure an unfair focus on the scandal rather than the actual solid job he did directing Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders has not been scared away from Hollywood. Instead of the as yet undecided next chapter in the Snow White saga, Sanders will move on to an adaptation of Alfred Bester’s short story Fondly Fahrenheit.

Entitled The Juliet, the story concerns a playboy and an android who become one murderous personality sort of like a sci-fi Bonnie and Clyde with the producers claiming its influenced more by The Bourne Identity.

Charles Roven is producing through Atlas Entertainment along with the screenwriter Frank Beddor who also apparently wrote a sci-fi version of Alice through the Looking Glass that has been in development since 2009. Sanders was also in consideration for the Van Helsing reboot with Tom Cruise but no word has been forthcoming on where they are with that for a couple of months. The Juliet is due to go into production in Spring 2013.
