Joining a league of other aging films inexplicably returning simultaneously this year, Mrs Doubtfire 2, like the recent Dumb and Dumber To, will be finally wrapping up all those loose ends and cliff-hangers left by the original some 21 years ago. (Apologies for making you feel old.)

Robin Williams, returning as the rather masculine Euphegenia Doubtfire, will be joined by the original director Chris Columbus and Elf writer David Berenbaum; probably hoping to tap into the gold mine that was the first film in the (now apparent) franchise, which took a hefty $440 million at the box office on its release.

No word yet on what cross country, cross dressing adventure Euphegenia will be taking, but you’ll be sure to hear word whenever we get our hands on the details.
