Ghost stories from The Daily Mail are not usually Starburst material. After all, they’re obviously not true for several reasons (that aren’t necessarily to do with the non-existence of ghosts). However, we can’t resist this one…

When spectral bags of Earl Grey tea start spooking-out customers in a Whitstable shop, only one culprit springs to mind. Peter Cushing was Whitstable’s most famous citizen, 2013 is his centenary and we’re certain he drank a lot of tea. Looks like Peter is belatedly celebrating with a bit of ghostly tomfoolery. With that trademark good humour, it looks like he’s still the greatest of all English gentlemen.
