Following on from the poster debut last week and that cheesy Entertainment Tonight puff piece two days ago comes the first official trailer for Sam Raimi’s OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL. And don’t worry, this isn’t your typical teaser trailer that contains scant few seconds of footage and the film’s logo. Disney actually comes out swinging here, with a pretty substantial look at Raimi’s vision for L. Frank Baum’s creation. We particularly like the switching aspect ratios touch to signify the journey to Oz! Nice.
