Not long now until we find out whether the mad geniuses behind such exercises in movie mayhem as CRANK, CRANK 2: HIGH VOLTAGE and GAMER, directors Neveldine & Taylor, can resurrect the dead-on-arrival GHOST RIDER franchise.

The following, newly released TV spot contains some hithero unseen footage, but for the most part it’s just more of the same. Which we’re not complaining about as everything we’ve seen thus far looks bloody ace!

Official synopsis:

Johnny Blaze – still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter – is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy from the devil. At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy – and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE hits February 17th 2012.
