While certain movies simply bombard us with pics, clips and variations of their trailers, the marketing folk behind PROMETHEUS are doing a stellar job at getting our attention whilst simultaneously retaining the movie’s mystery and expanding its mythology.

Here’s the latest, a simply brilliant faux commercial from Weyland Industries, introducing consumers to their latest model of android, David 8. Happy birthday, David.

Official Synopsis:

Ridley Scott, director of ‘Alien’ and ‘Blade Runner,’ returns to the genre he helped define. PROMETHEUS is released June 1st, and stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Logan Marshall-Green, Ben Foster and Patrick Wilson.
