For a long time now I have been telling anyone who will listen that THE FP is a new cult favourite waiting to happen. Since debuting at film festivals last year we haven’t heard much but now the film is gearing up for a release stateside through Drafthouse Films who distributed FOUR LIONS over there.

THE FP takes place in a future where the earth has been left in ruins and rival gangs fight for domination over the town of Frasier Park. They settle their differences through competing on one of those DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION type games that you see in arcades. A new trailer has now been released for the film:

We heard about this film so long ago that the director has since done superhero smackdown film VS. which has also played film festivals. No word yet on a UK release date but if the buzz keeps up then expect this to be picked up by a distributor soon.
