Sure, the helmets are still looking a little goofy, and as good an actress as Olivia Thirlby is, it’s always been a tad concerning that she’s cast as Judge Anderson, but we remain fiercely hopeful for DREDD.

Good to see that they’re delivering on their promise to give us a Judge Dredd movie more in tone to the original source. Don’t remember any exploding heads in the Stallone version.

Overall though, we’re still more than concerned about the rumours of trouble behind-the-scenes, with the studio recently bumping the release date by almost a year. A tentative opening date of September 2012 is now set for the US, but as for the UK – at this stage, not a clue.

God we hope this turns out to be good…
